The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LA&S) is the oldest and largest college at DePaul, with 431 full-time faculty in more than 36 undergraduate and 28 graduate degree programs. Courses are offered in the day, evenings and on weekends, primarily on the Lincoln Park Campus. The College of LA&S includes several key academic centers, including the Humanities Center, Center for Latino Research, Center for Black Diaspora and the Center for Community Research.
The largest graduate program in LA&S, the School of Public Service, was established in 1970 and became its own school in the summer of 2007. Faculty members teach leaders of nonprofit and government organizations critical thinking and policy analysis as well as practical management skills valued in the public and nonprofit sectors.
