The faculty and students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences form a community of scholars, actively engaged in research, scholarship, and creative work.
In 2007, LA&S faculty published 363 journal articles, 35 books, 59 book chapters, 27 creative works, and presented 769 papers at academic conferences. The college supports faculty and student research through several programs and initiatives.
