The Cadet Troop Leader Training Platoon Leader track provides
cadets the opportunity to experience leadership in Army units over a
three- to four-week period. Cadets serve in platoon leader positions or
other positions where a second lieutenant is normally assigned.
You will be attached to an active duty unit in order to "shadow" a
Second Lieutenant (2LT). This experience will allow you to observe the
daily responsibilities and training of a 2LT in one of the Army's 24
branches.
