Mark Light

Mark Light is Senior Professional Lecturer at the DePaul University School of Public Service where he teaches students how to do good great in ethical leadership, human resource management, public service management, and strategic management. He previously taught at Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management where he received the 2010 Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations Teaching Award.

In addition to his work at DePaul, he is president and founder of First Light Group​, where his mission is putting your future within reach through coaching, consulting, teaching and training, and writing. Mark has authored four books including Results Now, released by John Wiley & Sons in 2011 and the Sustainable Strategy Workbook, released in 2015. He also writes the Dr. Conflict column for The Nonprofit Quarterly. He holds an MBA from UCLA and a PhD from Antioch University.
