Students complete a total of 13 courses (52 credit hours). Ten course (40 credit hours) of core coursework and three courses (12 credit hours) of electives are required.
Students are required to assemble an electronic portfolio that features notable papers and projects prepared in both required and elective courses. These portfolios, reviewed by a member of the faculty, provide an opportunity for the student to demonstrate expertise in a particular area of study while also supporting career goals. Student choice with department consent
Students in the MPP program are required to take at least ONE course abroad. These unique one to two week study abroad trips allow both full-time and part-time students to participate.
Students with a grade point average of 3.5 or above may choose the thesis option and replace MPS 593 with MPS 598 THESIS.
