Students in our online program are required to attend online
orientation is a great way for our online student community to get to know one
another and to practice using the technology that will be required to work
through each course of the program. To ensure you are technologically ready for our online classes, please refer to our Are You Ready For An SPS Online Course document for further instructions.
Students in the online program will be contacted via email (sometime
early to mid-August) about the orientation date and time and how to access the
orientation online class room. If
students have any questions prior to online orientation, please contact Ron Fernandes (email@example.com), Assistant
Director of the School of Public Service and Chair of the online program.
Student ID Card Request. Online students outside of the
Chicago area are eligible to receive a DePaul ID Card. Students can request the ID card through Campus
Connect. Please refer to the DePaul ID
Card Overview page for further instructions.
Course Sequencing. Students
in the online program take courses in a lock-step sequence. The course sequence is outlined under the Online Degrees page for student reference. Students
should also work with Keirstin Lincoln, Assistant Director of Academic Advising, via
phone or email to go over degree requirements and finalize a program plan.
Registration. Online classes
are restricted to online students only for part of registration. After online students have had the
opportunity to register, the restriction is removed allowing non-online
students the opportunity to take the course.

and additional campus resources please refer to our Online Degrees page.
