Professor in the Department of Social Work, received his Doctorate of Philosophy in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Jane Addams College of Social Work and earned his MSW from Louisiana State University School of Social Work in Baton Rouge. He joined the MSW Program in 2004 as the first teaching faculty member. Previously, Professor Vincent served Director of Program Evaluation at Metropolitan Family Services. He teaches in the department's Forensic Social Work concentration, as well as research methods and program evaluation. Over the last 18 years, his research focus has been in the areas of survivors of homicide victims, where he co-founded the organization Chicago Survivors, program evaluation, and intimate partner violence. He’s originally from New Orleans, but now considers both NOLA and Chicag​o home.​
