Barbara Schaffer received her master's in English and Teaching from Washington University in St. Louis. She has taught many American Studies courses, including American Autobiography and American Voices, in addition to many Women’s and Gender Studies courses on a variety of topics. Her research interests include gender equity issues and computer-mediated communication. She is the Assistant Vice President of the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity at DePaul.
