The Center for Community Research was notified by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, that the grant application titled: Evaluating alternative aftercare models for ex-offenders, with Dr. Leonard Jason as Principal Investigator and Dr. Brad Olson as Co-Principal Investigator, was awarded to us (with total funds amounting to $3,327,359). We also were awarded a grant from the National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities titled: Community participatory intervention with high-risk African-American women, with Dr. Leonard Jason as the Principal Investigator and Dr. Doreen Salina as the Co-Investigator ( with total funds amounting to $2,801,352).
This award now brings the funds the Center has been successful in obtaining to over $24,000,000.
