DePaul University College of LAS > Centers & Institutes > Center for Latino Research > About

Bienvenidos, Welcome to the Center for Latino Research website, in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at DePaul University, a space dedicated to the enrichment of knowledge and understanding by and about Latina/o and Latin American experience. We warmly invite participation in our events, from the Current Issues forum each year in the Fall, to interesting speaker events created in collaboration with other units, and encourage student and faculty participation in the annual Latina/o Graduation Banquet. This year we mark the Center's 30th anniversary.

Foremost a research partner, the CLR publishes the interdisciplinary studies journal Diálogo, with dedicated focus on Latin American and U.S. Latino issues and populations, and organizes/facilitates the annual CLR Faculty Fellowship for faculty at DePaul. We encourage attending presentations by Fellows each year on their fascinating research projects. We also invite contact on any issues to our staff, and through announcements on our website and Facebook page.
