Collaborations


The Center for Latino Research helps sponsor artistic exhibits, film series, poetry and dramatic events in Spanish, conferences and events in conjunction with various entities at DePaul and in the community. These include ongoing participation in the series, Celebracion de Nuestra America, co-sponsored annually with the Program for Latin American and Latino Studies; the annual Poetry Festival, held at DePaul and community venues during April each year (organized by Spanish professor Juanita Goergen); Latino film events on campus; events orgranized by the Center for Intercultural Programs (CIP); oral history projects pursued by community groups and in conjunction with regional universities; and research projects through IUPLR partnership.
