World Catholicism Week 2016

Fire from Heaven: Pentecostalism, Catholicism and the Spirit in the World

Held April 15-17, 2016, this conference addressed the ten-fold growth, since 1970, of the number of Pentecostal and Charismatic Christians—to well over 600 million. Speakers explored the theologies and politics of Spirit movements in the global South through topics like Catholic-Protestant Pentecostal relations, prosperity and poverty, politics and colonialism, and spiritual warfare and healing.
