Since 2005 the Chaddick Institute has been helping the Tulane Canal Neighborhood in New Orleans  recover from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. This program, which combines practitoner experience with student participation, is under the direction of Assistant Director/Professor Gloria Simo.
