New B.A. Concentration in Nature-Society Studies Approved
The Department of Geography is happy to announce the development and approval of the new B.A. concentration in Nature-Society Studies (NSS). This is the major's fourth concentration area, joining the Standard, Urban Development & Planning (formerly Metropolitan Development & Land Use), and Geotechnology concentrations. We expect the NSS concentration to be available by 2011. The NSS concentration reflects Geography's rich tradition in the Human-Environment studies and theory, and is organized around the growing number of human-environment - related courses offered by our Geography faculty.
