Annual Student History Conference

The Annual Student History Conference is held in the Spring Quarter of every year. Undergraduate and Graduate students present original research conducted within history department classes.

2009 Student History Conference

The Fifth Annual Student History Conference was held Friday, April 24, 2009 at DePaul's Lincoln Park Student Center. The conference was a great success with over 20 students presenting original research on topics ranging from Chicago history to Race in the Americas.

This year's keynote speaker was Dr. John D'Emilio of the department of gender and women's studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago. His titled "Forty Years after the Stonewall Rebellion: Rethinking Gay History" will be available for download shortly.

2008 Student History Conference

The 2008 Student History Conference took place April 25, 2008, on DePaul's Lincoln Park Campus. Twenty students presented papers on various topics and four papers were awarded Best Conference Paper prizes. Congratulations to:
