Nuestra Diversidad Americana mural by Danila Rumold
The composition of Nuestra Diversidad Americana was divided into geometric shapes as a tribute to ancient Latin American art as well as to emphasize each country's uniqueness. Yet, because the shapes fit together forming an eagle or bird, their plight is shared. Transparent labyrinth lines overlap the entire piece indicating the path and barrier of the Latino experience in Chicago.
LA&S has 337 full-time faculty in 45 undergraduate and 21 graduate degree programs.
