Glen Carman’s articles have appeared in Colonial Latin American Review, Modern Language Studies, and Journal of Hispanic Philology, among others. He is the author of the book Rhetorical Conquests: Cortés, Gómara, and Renaissance Imperialism (Purdue UP). He teaches Spanish language at all levels, early modern Spanish and Latin American literature, Spanish phonology and phonetics, as well as courses in the Honors, Comparative Literature, and Latin American and Latino Studies programs.
