All applicants are advised to apply as early as possible as admission is limited and selective. Applicants are encouraged to enroll starting in the Autumn quarter in order to stay on track with their cohorts. As all MSW Program students complete their internships in Spring Quarter, courses taken prior to the Fall Quarter or during the summer terms will not result in in early graduation.
For admission in the Autumn Quarter, the deadline for 2 year applicants is April 1, while the deadline for 4 year applicants is July 1. Applicants with BSW degrees applying for the advanced standing option must complete their application by February 15, and admitted students under this option begin courses in the summer term, then complete the advanced year of the 2 year program beginning in the Autumn Quarter. For more information about the advanced standing option (as of Winter 2013), click here.

As the MSW Program application transitions to a more fully online process, applicants may find that paper forms below, such as the supplementary application (which contains the four essay questions) and the reference forms are not needed. Applicants who submit letters of reference instead of using the reference forms below are encouraged to share the content of the form with their reference writers as a guide.
