Avery Goldman, Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies

Avery received his Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University.  He teaches and conducts research in the areas of Late Modern Philosophy, particularly Kant, and Phenomenology, with an emphasis on questions concerning philosophical method. He has recently published articles in Kant-Studien, Continental Philosophy Review, and Epoché.  Avery was a Post-Doctoral Teaching Fellow at Fordham University.  His book, Kant and the Subject of Critique: on the Regulative Role of the Psychological Idea, will be coming out with Indiana University Press, Fall 2011.
