The department of physics offers coursework leading to the  Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science. Our classes are small, often laboratory orientated, therefore promote serious learning in a friendly atmosphere. Students are encouraged to participate in research with faculty and are frequently co-authors of articles in physics journals. Current research areas include astrophysics, condensed matter, complex fluids, dynamical systems, nuclear physics, radio astronomy and ultra fast physics.
