Political Science
Welcome!
The department of political science offers a Bachelor of Arts degree program. Over 600 students major in political science, making it one of the largest programs in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The department offers both day and evening courses at the Lincoln Park and Loop campuses.
The department, university, and city offer many opportunities for students to become engaged in the community and develop their organizational, communication, and leadership skills. On campus, students can participate in the Pre-law Association, Model United Nations, the Pi Sigma Alpha national honor society, College Republicans, DePaul Democrats, and other student organizations. Off campus, students can find a wide variety of opportunities for volunteer and internship positions in non-governmental and governmental organizations.
