The Faculty Summer Research Grant (FSRG) provides salary stipends and
funding for additional expenses to tenure-track and tenured full-time
faculty for projects undertaken in the summer. The deadline for FSRG applications is October 10, 2016.
FSRG Past Recipients
The Faculty Summer Research Grant
(FSRG) program is a highly competitive program administered by the LAS
Research Committee. It invites faculty to apply for summer funding for
their ongoing research projects. Each year, the committee receives a
number of applications from tenure track and tenured faculty early in
the autumn quarter for the following summer. Faculty are expected to
send in a brief report of their research accomplishments at the end of
summer. Previous FSRG recipients can be seen below, along with their
department and project title.
Undergraduate Research Assistant Program (URAP)
The Undergraduate Research Assistant Program (URAP) grant provides
funding for undergraduate students to assist and collaborate with
faculty members who conduct research projects or are engaged in creative
and scholarly activities during the regular academic year and/or
summer. The deadline for winter/spring URAP applications is October 28, 2016.
