Administrative Changes
On September 1st Director J. Patrick Murphy began a one-year academic leave from the School. He will work on writing projects until March when he travels for a four-month appointment to teach in the School of Business at the Pontifical Catholic University of Parana in Curitiba, Brazil. This opportunity comes as a Fulbright scholarship for 2010.
Dr. William Calzaretta is our Interim Director of the School for the 2009-2010 academic year. He is tenured in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and a clinical psychologist. He has the distinction of having served for many years as the Director of the Rehabilitation Services Administration Program—the twin program to the School of Public Service founded by Dr. Dominic Parisi. More recently Calzaretta has been the Director of Suburban Campuses for DePaul.
