Orientation

Orientation is a program specifically designed for first-year, new transfer and adult students. A DePaul faculty or professional staff member will serve as your advisor, and together you'll plan your schedule for the upcoming quarter, register for classes and begin discussions about your academic plans, interests and opportunities. Besides academic advising and registration, orientation includes:

  • University welcome and introduction to DePaul University
  • Overview of your academic program
  • Resources for succeeding at DePaul University
  • Campus tours given by a current DePaul student
  • Opportunities for campus and community involvement

More information, including orientation dates and making your reservation, is available through the Office of New Student and Family Engagement.
