Teaching Interests

My personal mission as an educator is to develop traits in students that will carry them beyond their coursework and aid their personal development. I feel fortunate to have had mentors that taught me that studying foreign language is a privilege that opens up doors to new places, cultures, and people. It is my desire to pass these lessons on to future generations so they can find their lives as enriched by the process of learning a foreign language as I have. As a Spanish instructor, it is my mission to foster a welcoming and positive environment to invoke student’s curiosity all while instilling values such as resiliency, responsibility and wellness.
