Maureen Dolan

For more than 45 years, Maureen Dolan has been engaged in social justice work in the peace movement, union organizing, community coalitions, and women’s organizations and teaches in SCPS as well as PAX. She has a doctorate in the Philosophy of Transformative Studies and writes a regular column for Yoga Chicago magazine, under her ordained name of Swami Shraddhananda, and has chapters published in American Wars: Illusions and Realities and in Awakening the Spirit, Inspiring the Soul: 30 Stories of Interspiritual Discovery in the Community of Faiths. Maureen helped form the Logan Square Housing Cooperative in 2001 where she resides with 10 adults and 2 children and teaches yoga and meditation every week.​
