Joseph Kearney teaches MPS 560, Administrative Law. He is presently an
Associate Director of Career Services at The John Marshall Law School in
Chicago, where he advises alumni, LLM students and evening law students about
career paths and opportunities. Joe also is a partner with the law firm of
Corral, Kearney & Cho, LLP, which focuses primarily on the representation
of clients in real estate and transactional matters. Before working at John
Marshall, Joe served as a Staff Attorney at the Illinois Appellate Court, First
District, where he drafted dispositive orders for the court's 24 justices on
primarily criminal cases. Joe has additional experience working with state
court judges and legal practitioners and also served for five years as Program
Manager for the Harry F. Chaddick Institute at DePaul University, an urban
planning and policy research organization.
He holds a JD from The John Marshall Law School, an MS in Public Service from
DePaul University and a BS in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from
the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
