2019 Latinx Graduate Celebration
2019 Latinx Graduate Celebration

The Latinx Graduate Celebration, a student-led initiative that began in 1997, is a gathering of graduating students and loved ones to celebrate the academic accomplishments of the Latinx community at DePaul University. This celebration has grown from a small group of 100 graduating students and their families, to nearly 300 guests including university faculty and administrators. Today, this event is planned and organized by student staff of the offices of the Center for Latino Research and the Department of Latin American and Latinao Studies for graduating students from across the various university colleges and degree programs, and receives support and sponsorship from the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity, as well as other colleges and departments.
