College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences > Student Resources > Undergraduate Advising
The LAS Undergraduate College Office provides holistic advising
services for students who are declared majors in our college. We help
with planning coursework, switching
majors, choosing a minor, outlining study abroad and internship options,
and transitions to graduate and professional school. Office
staff monitor students'
academic progress, update their electronic academic records and conduct
graduation audits. Students are encouraged to utilize Undergraduate College Office
resources, either online or in-person, to clarify administrative policy and to initiate special
academic requests (see Forms). Walk-in advising is available the first week and the registration week of every quarter.
We also collaborate closely with the Office for Academic Advising (OAAS), which provides similar services to LAS
students who have not yet declared majors.
If you are a declared major in LAS and would like to schedule an appointment with an academic advisor, please contact us.
If you are an undeclared student in LAS, please contact OAAS.
