Polly Thompson Mangerson has been Director of the French Program since 2016. Dr. Mangerson's primary research interests include seventeenth-century French literature, particularly the representation of the king in the tragedies of Pierre Corneille and Jean Racine. She enjoys teaching French at all levels, as well as incorporating technology to create meaningful hybrid and online language instruction.
