German (Minor)

​The German minor at DePaul University provides students with a linguistic and cultural background, develops their creative and critical thinking skills, and helps to prepare them for citizenship in a multilingual world.

The minor consists of a total of 5 courses in German language: GER 105, GER 106, and three 300-level electives.  Courses taught in English (GER 272E, GER 274E, GER 277E, GER 278E) will not be counted toward this minor unless Program Director permission is secured.

Students majoring in German (BA) or minoring in German Studies are restricted from earning this minor.
