English Department

​​​​The English department fosters analytical and creative skills in a diverse, flexible ​curriculum preparing students for real-world opportunities. Its two tracks, literature and creative writing, feature exceptional faculty and students exploring classic and contemporary works in a vibrant community of readers and writers. This program offers internships, scholarships, and editing and publishing opportunities on campus and in Chicago.
