Pi Alpha Alpha, The Global Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration
The DePaul University School of Public Service Chapter of Phi Alpha Alpha invites all qualified students to apply for the Spring induction into this prestigious national honor society for public affairs and public administration. Pi Alpha Alpha encourages and recognizes outstanding scholarship and accomplishment in public affairs and administration, promotes the advancement of education and practice in the art and science of public affairs and administration, and fosters integrity, professionalism and creative performance in the conduct of governmental and related public service activities. Membership in Pi Alpha Alpha is limited to those who demonstrate academic achievement in public affairs and administration programs in NASPAA member schools and/or outstanding public service.

Criteria for membership are as follows:
In order to meet eligibility criteria students must have completed 27 quarter hours of MPS courses and have a GPA of 3.7 or higher. Students from all degree programs (MPS, MPA, MPP, MNM, IPS) that meet GPA criteria are encouraged to apply.

Application packages will be reviewed and applicants deemed eligible to join Pi Alpha Alpha will be invited to attend an honor society induction ceremony before graduation. Nu Lambda Mu, the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council Honors Society
The Nonprofit Academic Centers Council (NACC) will be accepting applications for membership to the Nu Lambda Mu Honor Society from February 25th - April 15, 2022.

Criteria for membership are as follows:
Applicants must be a current graduate student who has completed a minimum of 50% of his or her degree-program coursework or possess a graduate degree or certificate from a NACC-affiliated program. Applicants must also hold a minimum overall 3.7 GPA. If accepted, members receive honor cords and a membership certificate. 

Qualifying SPS students will be notified via email during the first week of Spring Quarter. There is a one-time application fee of $40, which the School of Public Service will pay for you. To do this, please arrange to phone/Zoom/meet with our Department Administrator: mboyles@depaul.edu. Meghan can complete the paperwork with you and then bill the School for the fee. Applications are also available online; however, if you choose to apply directly through the Nu Lambda Mu website without Meghan’s assistance, we may not be able to refund you the $40 fee. ​
