Fellowship Cohorts

From 2019-2024, HumanitiesX selected a new cohort of HumanitiesX fellows with expertise about and/or interest in an annual theme. Each annual cohort included six faculty members, three community partners, and six DePaul students. Working in three teams, the fellows designed and delivered three new experiential humanities courses for DePaul students.

Starting with the 2025 cohort, HumanitiesX now offers two co-teaching team fellowships and three single-instructor team fellowships, and fellows may design courses focused on any of our three core themes: Immigration and Migration, The Environment: Crisis and Action, and Democracy and Rights.
