Helen Damon-Moore, PhD is the Associate Director of the
Steans Center. She directs academic service learning and non-profit internships
at DePaul. She is the founding director of the office of
volunteer services and service learning at Cornell College in Iowa. Her
research interests include theories of service learning, the history of popular
culture, gender and higher education, and the theory and practice of
mindfulness.
