Yong-Chan Rhee is an assistant professor at DePaul University. His major research interests are the (interdisciplinary) behavioral/cognitive scientific foundation of public administration/policy, organizational behavior/culture/management, security and policing.
Dr. Rhee is the recipient of the DePaul Humanities Center 2025-2027 Faculty Fellows Program for his research: "Justice and Police Stops: Symbolic Effects of Police-Citizen Encounters."
He also received the 2023 NASPAA (Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration) Outstanding Achievement in Public Service Education Award - Pi Alpha Alpha Doctoral Manuscript Award, for his manuscript titled: "Re-examining leadership and diversity: Will leadership decide the effectiveness of racial representation in police killings?"
