Welcome to DePaul Army ROTC.
The DePaul Military Science Department offers students course work in officer leadership in the United States Army. The department is DePaul students' access to the U.S. Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Program.
We are looking for Scholars-Athletes-Leaders like you who have demonstrated talents in high school, or prior enlisted service, and are ready to take on a real challenge. Our programs give you the opportunity to learn excellent leadership and management skills, and to participate in some of the finest training available. The Army ROTC program, in addition to providing a basic foundation in military subjects, is designed to develop the highest qualities of leadership, character, and citizenship through your studies which include: leadership development, military skills, and adventure training, such as field training exercises, challenging physical training, Ranger Challenge, Bataan Death March, repelling, and combat water survival training. You can also compete for the opportunity to attend Airborne school or Air Assault School.
Upon graduation and commissioning as an Army officer, you'll continue to hone your leadership skills either on active duty or in a reserve component (U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard).
