Yuri Tam

​​​Professor Tam is a Korean minority from Dalian, China. Yuri grew up in a Chinese/Korean bilingual household, and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Korean, and English. She is also conversational in Japanese. She obtained her MBA from Peking University in Beijing, China, and moved to the US in 2012. Yuri also holds a Master of Finance degree from Fordham University, and a Master of Human Resources degree from DePaul University. Besides teaching, Yuri serves as an admissions officer at DePaul University. Yuri’s greatest passion is working and interacting with students. She believes that practical communications skills are the key to language learning. She likes to involve real life experiences and skills during her classes to prepare her students for their future journeys in China and around the world.​
