Anna Maria Fantuzzi

Anna Maria Fantuzzi studied at the oldest university in the Western world, the Università di Bologna, where she earned a Laurea in Lettere Moderne (1988) and a Laurea in Filosofia (2000). In 2014 she also received a Master in Curriculum Studies from DePaul University. Anna Maria’s interests include Italian language pedagogy and intercultural competence in foreign languages curriculum. At DePaul she teaches basic and intermediate Italian courses.

Anna Maria lives in Chicago and loves all the city has to offer. She visits often the art museums, is a subscriber of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and does not miss a show at the Steppenwolf Theatre. In the Spring and Fall she enjoys the nice weather walking and running along the lake, and in the Winter she misses skiing in the Italian mountains. She spends most of her Summer back in Italy visiting friends and family.
