College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences > Academics > Modern Languages > Undergraduate > Commercial French (Minor)
The Commercial French minor program is offered to students who wish to be proficient enough to conduct business in French. Students completing the minor are encouraged to take the business language certification exams given by the French government through their respective chambers of commerce.
Depending on their level of prior expertise with French, students may need to complete courses at the Basic and Intermediate levels before enrolling in 200 or 300-level language courses. Students majoring in French (BA) or minoring in French or French Translation are restricted from earning this minor.
