DePaul's HumanitiesX and the Chicago Content Strategy Meetup will convene a one-hour conversation with Medium editor Adrienne Samuels Gibbs on Tuesday, May 11 at 3:00 p.m. Gibbs is the Acting Editor-in-Chief of the popular Medium publication Zora, an award-winning journalist, and through her company ASG LLC, Gibbs copy writes and edits thought leadership and articles for clients including HP, Apple, Netflix, Ipsos, Atlantic Records, Art Institute of Chicago, University of Chicago, Redbull and Subaru.

Gibbs will share her thoughts on the evolution and potential of spaces like Medium that enable thoughtful, long-form digital writing, including how these spaces encourage a diversity of voices, how they enable large-scale circulation of ideas, and how they can be part of a content strategy and an academic's efforts to develop a public voice.

The event will be in Zoom Webinar format and feature a short talk by Samuels Gibbs, a facilitated conversation with several representatives of the Chicago Content Strategy Meetup and HumanitiesX, and 20-30-minutes for audience members to engage in an interactive Q&A.
