For Current Students

Join the Collaborative

All students at DePaul are welcome to join in our public events and are encouraged to participate in STRC's intellectual community.

The STRC also offers a two types of fellowships for students majoring or minoring in the College of LAS who are interested in doing independent research about the histories and cultures of people of color: the STRC Graduate Research Fellowship (SGRF) and the STRC Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF). Students Fellows will benefit from focused academic mentoring, networking with peers and faculty within the STRC, and the chance to learn more about how the humanities can help build a more just and equitable society.

Student Fellowship Opportunities

Undergraduate Research Fellowship

The STRC Undergraduate Fellowship will provide six undergraduate students with a stipend and free tuition to attend a 5-week Summer Session I course, co-taught by two LAS faculty, which will introduce them to basic research methodologies in the interdisciplinary humanities.
