Outstanding Student Achievement Awards

​​​The Department of Anthropology Invites Nominations for Outstanding Student Achievement Awards!

The Outstanding Student Achievement Awards are open to junior and senior anthropology majors and minors, and are designed to recognize exceptional accomplishments in anthropology among our students. These achievements may be part of a class project, individual scholarly activity, or an extracurricular activity that actively engages with anthropology. Students may self-apply for awards and/or nominate a worthy candidate. Faculty members may also recommend that outstanding students nominate themselves or recommend them to the Awards Committee.

Nominations are being accepted in the following categories:

  • Outstanding Student Achievement in Archeology
  • Outstanding Student Achievement in Applied Practice
  • Outstanding Student Achievement in Medical Anthropology
  • Outstanding Student Achievement in Museum Studies
  • Outstanding Student Achievement in Cultural Anthropology

Outstanding Student Achievement in Anthropology Awards Nomination Form

The nomination form opens March 1. Nominations will be accepted through April 15 and awards will be presented during the Spring Quarter.
