Scholarships at The Grace School of Applied Diplomacy, DePaul University

​​​​​​​​The Grace School of Applied Diplomacy International Graduate Student Scholarship (Global South) ​

The Grace School of Applied Diplomacy is seeking newly admitted graduate student applicants for the Global South scholarship. The purpose of this award is to provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding international graduate students from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Central and South America, and the Caribbean who desire to change the face of diplomacy.

The Global South scholarship offers full tuition remission, along with a $8,000 graduate research assistant salary and an additional $8,000 stipend to cover living expenses. The award will renew for a second academic year if the awardee meets the expectations of the scholarship requirements and remains in good standing throughout the program. 

In order to receive the award, the student must be enrolled, matriculated and on campus as an Applied Diplomacy graduate student by the start of the Autumn Quarter and remain enrolled as a full-time student in good standing throughout the academic year. ​​Graduate Assistant Application: The Grace School of Applied Diplomacy​

The Grace School of Applied Diplomacy is seeking new and continuing graduate student assistants through the Graduate Assistant scholarship. Graduate assistants who demonstrate high academic performance are invited to work with specific Applied Diplomacy faculty on interdisciplinary research projects throughout the academic year. 

The Graduate Assistantship scholarship offers full tuition remission, along with a $8,000 graduate research assistant salary. The award will renew for a second academic year if the awardee meets the expectations of the scholarship requirements and remains in good standing throughout the length program. 

In order to receive the award, the student must be enrolled, matriculated, and on campus as an Applied Diplomacy graduate student by the start of the Autumn Quarter and remain enrolled as a full-time student in good standing throughout the length of the program. ​​The Grace School of Applied Diplomacy Study Internship Scholarship​​​​

Every quarter, The Grace School of Applied Diplomacy offers an award opportunity to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students who will be participating in unpaid internships during the current academic year. Selection of awardees is competitive, and although financial need is not a requirement, priority is granted to semi-finalists with high financial need. 

The Applied Diplomacy Study Internship scholarship offers several awards ranging from approximately $2,000 to $3,000 to students participating in unpaid internship opportunities. 

In order to receive the award, the student must be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled and matriculated in an Applied Diplomacy program. The internship scholarship includes a pre-selection process that requires proof of internship employment for 10 hours per week for 10 weeks before the finalist is officially selected and awarded. Additional terms apply and are disclosed in detail in the awardee offer letter.

The application window for this scholarship opens four times during the academic year, approximately once every quarter. Every current and active internship scholarship application is intended for internship opportunities that will take place during the following quarter(s) and only within the current academic year. Therefore, interested students must apply for the internship scholarship in advance of the internship taking place in order to be eligible. 

An active internship scholarship includes the posting of its application deadline.

The Grace School of Applied Diplomacy Study Abroad/Away Scholarship​​

Every quarter, The Grace School of Applied Diplomacy offers an award opportunity to undergraduate and graduate students who are currently enrolled in study abroad/away programs during the current academic year. Selection of awardees is competitive, and although financial need is not a requirement, priority is granted to semi-finalists with high financial need. 

The Applied Diplomacy Study Internship scholarship offers several awards ranging from approximately $2,000 to $4,000 to students participating in study abroad/away program opportunities. 

In order to receive the award, the student must be an undergraduate or graduate student matriculated and enrolled at least part-time in an Applied Diplomacy program at the time of participating in the study abroad/away program. The awardee’s enrollment in the study abroad program will be confirmed with DePaul’s Study Abroad office before the award disbursement takes place. Additional terms apply and are disclosed in detail in the awardee offer letter.
