​Bio:

Oscar teaches GIS and spatial analysis techniques. Before coming to DePaul, he taught physical and human geography at Arizona State University. His research has involved using GIS to support stakeholder engagement in infrastructure development. To accomplish this, he uses mixed methods approaches that include geo design workshops, web mapping, network analysis, asset based community mapping, and interview and survey analysis. Oscar previously worked as a GIS technician and community organizer.​​​
