DePaul's nationally-recognized Department of Geography and GIS is Chicago's premier program in geography and geotechnology. Our mission is to prepare students for a broad range of academic, public, and private sector careers that build on geographic/spatial analysis and technologies: From nonprofit organizations and NGOs to state, local, and federal government agencies, from urban planning to environmental management and public diplomacy, and from marketing to real estate development, geographers provide critical analytical and visualization know-how that support decision-making.
