Nicholas McCormack

Dr. McCormick is adjunct faculty in the History Department and regularly teaches United States and Urban history courses including History of Chicago, Explore Chicago, History of Museums, US History Since 1900 and The History of the Future. Dr. McCormick has taught at DePaul since 2016 and wrote his dissertation about natural history exhibition and education in Chicago during the Progressive Era. In addition to revising the dissertation, he is currently researching and writing a sensory history of ocean liners on the North Atlantic. Dr. McCormick earned his PhD in history from University of Illinois at Chicago (2017), MA from Roosevelt University (2006), BA from Columbia College Chicago (2001). He is an avid photographer and builder of model ships.​
