Ben Whisenhunt has a PhD in Russian/Soviet history from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has been teaching as an adjunct at DePaul University since 2016. He has published eight books on Russian history. In 2006, he was a J. William Fulbright Senior Scholar in Russia. He is currently the Co-Managing Editor of the Journal of Russian American Studies (JRAS) https://journals.ku.edu/jras.
