The Peace, Justice and Conflict Studies Program provides a major, double major, and minor curriculum that helps students develop a more complete understanding of violence, conflict, and social injustice, from the roots of these issues to how their impact is felt across the world today. The program teaches students strategies for conflict resolution and peace-building, and emphasizes hands-on, experiential education and skills training throughout the curriculum. Students are encouraged to take part in internship and service opportunities that allow them to put those skills to use in practical settings.
The Peace, Justice and Conflict Studies Program is also excited to announce a new Undergraduate Certificate in Disability Justice, Rights, and Policy Studies, created in collaboration with the School of Public Service and launched in the Autumn Quarter of 2022.
