College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences > Academics > English > Undergraduate > English Literature Minor
English literature minors study major authors, works, genres, and literary movements, approaching them both analytically and historically.
At least two courses must be at the 300-level. ENG 205, ENG 206, and ENG 207 are strongly recommended but not required; these courses are prerequisites to many 300-level Literature courses.
Students majoring in English are restricted from earning this minor.
Students who minor in both Creative Writing and English Literature cannot count the same classes for both minors.
